Interior shot of the archeology museum at Parramatta Square

Heritage

Parramatta Square has transformed the city centre by creating a new precinct enlivened with commerce, culture and conveniences. The land on which 3 Parramatta Square occupies has a rich history spanning thousands of years and is part of a cultural landscape significant for its Aboriginal history and for its associations with the historical evolution of the city of Parramatta.

Prior to construction, the site was investigated for its archaeological evidence it had the potential to reveal about the changing patterns of land use and human activity and the findings of which can be found in an impressive heritage art display in the lobby of 3 Parramatta Square. More details can be found via the Parramatta Square Passport app.
