Retail Link Upgrade

The Retail Link has taken on a new look, with a striking sandstone feature wall now complete, bringing a stronger sense of place to the precinct.

Inspired by Parramatta’s natural landscape and rich history, the feature wall introduces natural materials and contemporary design to create a meaningful connection between people, place and Country. As one of the first elements of the Retail Link upgrade to take shape, it sets the tone for a space designed to feel connected to its surroundings.

The next stage of the upgrade will see a large-scale handwoven fibre artwork by Crossing Threads introduced alongside the sandstone wall. Drawing inspiration from nature and the surrounding landscape, the artwork will add texture, movement, and another layer of storytelling to the space.

Bringing together natural materials, local context and contemporary creativity, the completed works will transform the Retail Link into a more engaging experience for everyone who moves through the precinct.
